Identity Crisis: Who am I?

Have you heard of the new acute disorder named identity crisis? This disorder may not be that openly discussed topic but it’s one of the major problem in human psychology. In my opinion I think you can also relate to you with this obsessed disease if you are also the one suffering. It’s not something widely discussed but this disorder kills a person from mentally. Some goes to that extreme level that it forces the sufferer to commit suicide. May be a person seems very jolly and happy from outside, but he/she is also affected by this disorder. This disorder is enough to break the backbone of a person and make them mentally ill.

To start with let’s talk what kind of persons generally feels this way? Of course someone who is deprived of what he wants. May be he/she is deprived of love, care and affection and suffers from the evil eye of the society. Some person may be self sufficient in every way but they take the things in such a way that they are deprived. Mostly minority peoples, in terms of religion, class, custom mostly affected by this kind of disorder. Suppose, a person is from a minority of a country, in spite of being middle class he/ she studied in expensive schools, saw people buying expensive things and dreamed the same about him/her, but as he/she cannot afford this life. Moreover, people who are studying abroad or far from family always suffer from these kinds of identity crisis. They cannot adjust themselves not at home and not abroad. These kinds of people are generally suffers from identity crisis.

This identity crisis is truly very acute. It makes a person feel different, think different and also talk different. These kinds of people try to make them adjust with everyone but, finally ends up with none. They are always conscious on how to talk, how to behave and how to present and finally when they are tired of pretending and being someone else they busted up with inner emotions. They feel depressed always. They talk rude and weird and feel the way that no one understands them. They cry hiding themselves. His/her pain is never to shown up but kills the person suffering whole life.

There is no perfect solution for these kinds of disorder until the person gets lots of love and care that he/she feels safe. May be enriching his/her environment can be a better solution. Moreover, may be mediation can help it a little bit. This identity can lead unto a big crisis, but before it becomes a huge problem it should be taken out from the root. If you are suffering from this greatest syndrome overcome it as soon as possible. After all it’s your life and you are the one to make an identity. So, if you have identity crisis try and make a new identity for you which will make you recognize among others. After all, every person is unique on their own way.
